Helsinki Airport Terminals

Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport (HEL) is the main international airport in Finland located in Vantaa, 17 km (11 miles) of Helsinki city centre.

It handles both domestic and international flights with split sections for Schengen and non-Schengen services.

Helsinki Airport Terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, are distributed in a main building connected to each other:


Helsinki Airport Terminal 1 is the oldest terminal in Helsinki Airport and handles all European flights within Schengen area.

Terminal 1 has boarding gates 5-15.

TERMINAL 2 - international and NON-SCHENGEN

Helsinki Airport Terminal 2 is the largest terminal in Helsinki Airport with boarding gates 16-55.

Terminal 2 handles all non-Schengen flights, long-haul flights and charter flights.

It has direct connection to Airport Train Station to Helsinki Central Railway Station.
