Helsinki Airport Terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2

Helsinki Airport (Vantaa Airport) has a main building with two passenger terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, connected to each other. Distance between both of them is about 300 meters. In order to better understand how are them located, check the terminal map.

Transfer between terminals

Both airport terminals are linked by a 250-meter internal pedestrian walkway.



It’s the oldest terminal in Helsinki Airport. The terminal connects directly with the Train station to reach Helsinki Central Railway Station.

It has gates from 11 to 31. It handles all European flights in the Schengen area.

It is the largest terminal at Helsinki Airport. It has gates from 32 to 38, and 16 to 38.

It handles all the non-Schengen flights and the long-haul flights. As well as Terminal 1, Terminal 2 has direct connection to the airport’s train station to reach Helsinki Central Railway Station.
